Race Weekend Bookings (Friday 9th and Saturday 10th March)

We are very fortunate to have the ongoing support of Jenolan Caves House and access to that extraordinary finish line each year.

Accommodation bookings comes with a car space and complimentary coach service to take you directly to the start line early on Saturday morning.

Then relax with a warm shower, bed, celebratory beverages and great food waiting for you at the finish line!

You can book your accommodation by telephone only (call 02 6359 3900), from 9am Friday 1 December.

Food options

Friday night is normal a la carte menu with pasta meals as specials.

Buffet in Chisolms (Saturday night) will be available at a cost of $TBC per person, menu TBC

Breakfast in Chisolms (Saturday and Sunday) between 7.30am – 9.30am.

 

Runners staying at Caves House Race Day Logistics

For runners checking in on the Friday night, at check in, you will be provided with a parking pass to put on the dashboard or your car that allows you to use the Cave House Parking area.

For runners who will only be staying Saturday night Caves House will email you with the pass so that your supporter/driver is able to access the parking areas on the Saturday. If you have not received this pass please contact Caves House directly. Your supporter/driver will need to take the alternative route to get to Caves House as Caves Rd will be blocked for traffic management on Race Day.

For all runners staying at Caves House on the Friday night please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the following details

  • Runners Name
  • Runners Bib #
  • Number of any spectators that will also be catching bus to the start

The race day buses to the start will depart at 5:15am on Saturday morning. Please ensure you get there before 5:15am as we will not be checking names off and the buses will depart promptly. Preference will be given to Wave 1 & 2 runners on the first bus to depart.

Based upon the email details above we will be setting aside the registration kits for Caves House based runners. If these are not collected from the Carrington Hotel on the Friday we will then have them available for collection at the start line when your bus arrives. You can then collect any merchandise ordered at the finish line after the race. If you do not email us and do not collect your bib on the Friday then your bib won't be available at the start line as it will be with all other bibs at the Katoomba High Car park.
