Six Foot Track Marathon Results - 8th March 2003
Note that the time used for the official results is the "gun" time - from the firing of the gun at the start of the wave the runner was allocated in, to when they crossed the finish line.
"Net" times measure from when runners crossed the start mats approx 10 metres into the race from the start to when they crossed the finish line mats.
"Net" times are not used for the official results as :
- All Champion Chip timed-events use the "gun" time.
- The "Net" time would mean that the first 10 metres of the race is not timed.
- Runners could ignore the start waves, and create their own mini-waves.
Runners who started in the incorrect wave, were timed according to that wave.
Runners who started completely outside of a wave, had their time adjusted to the best-fitting wave start.
